State Parks Pets Policy
North Hampton State Beach is a great family location with an Atlantic
ocean-front setting - its sandy beach is ideal for swimming and picnicking.
Amenities at the beach include a bathhouse and lifeguards. After mid-August,
lifeguards are not on duty.
Parking Meters are located along Route 1A and accept quarters and tokens only.
If quarters are used, the rate is $1.50 per hour. Tokens cost $5 each for and
are good for four hours. Tokens can be purchased at change machines at the
following locations:
>Parking lot south of the Hampton Seashell complex - south end and north end
>Restroom on Ross Avenue
>Restrooms at North Beach, Jenness Beach and North Hampton State Beach
Hours of operation for the meters are 8:00am to midnight, seven day a week, from
May 1st through October 1st.
The beach is open weekends only from mid-May to mid-June, and daily from
mid-June to Labor Day.
